Remember the the days gone by where neighbors sat out on their porches, discussing the weather and the latest gossip? Rocking and swinging to a rythm of a slower life? Your paw or granddaddy would say something patriotic, and all the others would nod, and sit in silence as they contemplate the significance. Then Uncle Skeet from down the road would pipe up with a cowboy story, causing everyone to fall into side splitting laughter. Do you remember that? At Ralph's Backporch we do and we miss it.

Neighbor, we invite you to come sit a spell with us. Kick back in that rocker, pull up the porch swing and relax, grab a cup of joe or a glass of sweet tea and sit a spell, stare out across the pasture as we chew the fat, tell a few windies, share some laughs and solve the worlds problems.

About us ?

Im Ralph, some describe me as a christian and patriotic cowboy, and honestly I didn't ever intend to have my own website but folks, I kept running my mouth and yall keep listening so Tamara said it was time for one. Here it is, who would have ever figured that an ole cowboy like me would have his own page on the internet superhighway, let alone radio stations and talk shows.... but here i am!

I do love what I do and hearing from yall is what makes this so much fun, so... be sure to give me a shout and tell me whats on your mind. Share your patriotic stories, we love the christian forwards and well, I am an old cowboy so we like that too.

Well, what can we say about Tamara, shes that aunt that we always just shook our heads at... bossy, headstrong, opinionated and always got something to say. She is the co-host of the show and really the one that keeps everything organized (that explains it all doesn't it!)

Tamara is a yankee but we don't hold that against her here on the backporch, she fits right in and loves the western music, western swing and cowboy poetry as much as I do! Now, she will let you know what shes thinking when she gets the mind to, so watch out!

We really are enjoying what were doing and I think it shows. The talk show is growing and we are getting more musical guests than we ever dreamed possible and we thank the western music community for that.

Us cowboys (and cowgirls) have to stick together. This is terrific music and we just wanted to share our love for it with all of you!

So, kick off the spurs, have a cup of joe, take a deep seat and a far away look and enjoy the shows!
